At DCH Construction we believe building communities goes beyond bricks and mortar. This season we are proud to sponsor two local sports clubs that embody the values we hold dear. Our support for Ruby Kilden at Bowers & Pitsea Ladies FC and for Tiptree Artistic Roller-Skating Club shows how investing in youth and staff families strengthens the ties that bind us.
Championing Women’s Football
For the 2025–2026 season we are delighted to back Ruby Kilden at Bowers & Pitsea Ladies FC. Ruby is the daughter of our site manager, Ian Kilden, who brings the same dedication to our projects that Ruby brings to the pitch. Bowers & Pitsea Ladies FC competes in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, where teamwork, persistence, and passion turn every match into a community event.
By covering Ruby’s kit and travel costs we remove barriers so she can focus on training and games. This support honours Ian’s commitment to DCH and highlights the importance of helping staff families pursue their goals. When Ruby steps onto the field, she carries our company’s pride with her.

Rolling Ahead with TARSC
A few miles away at Thurstable Sports Hall in Tiptree, we sponsor Tiptree Artistic Roller-Skating Club (TARSC). This volunteer-run group is affiliated with GB Artistic Skate, the national body that makes its skaters eligible for Team GB. Despite their international rankings, TARSC crowd-funds their travel to national events.
In our first year of partnership, DCH provided jackets for every club member. Seeing those jackets at competitions reminds us how even small gestures can boost morale and team identity. We are pleased to continue this support for the current season. Providing consistent backing helps skaters focus on their skating skills instead of fundraising.
Our Director Steve Last has a deep personal connection to TARSC:
“My daughter has skated at the Tiptree club for 10 years and in the last two years has competed at national competitions. The club includes three current Team GB members, and it brings enjoyment to many local children and young adults. It is not just about logos on jackets; it is about nurturing their confidence and ambition.”

Why Local Youth Projects Matter
Supporting local sports projects reflects DCH’s commitment to community and staff wellbeing. Sports teach young people resilience, discipline, and collaboration. These are qualities we value on every job site and in our office.
Looking Forward
Our sponsorship of Ruby and TARSC is only the beginning. Over the coming months we plan to explore more ways to empower local teams and youth projects. Whether through funding, volunteering, or mentorship, DCH will continue to back initiatives that foster teamwork and community pride.
When staff families and young athletes succeed, we all benefit. By bringing resources, encouragement, and shared enthusiasm to local sport, DCH Construction strengthens the very foundations of the communities we serve.
