DCH was proud to accept a nomination for the Local Authority Building Control East Anglia award for the Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development. The company's site at Millfield in High Ongar, a collaboration with architects Parsons + Whittley, was the scheme that caught the eye of the judges.
DCH directors Mark Kennedy and Steve Healy represented the firm at the awards ceremony in St Andrews Hall, Norwich, on June 13. Despite strong competition from a field of excellent candidates, DCH took the honours in Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development. An elated Mark Kennedy said: 'The sheer hard work and tireless efforts of the staff at DCH give us the impetus to achieve awards such as this one. Providing social and affordable housing is something that we as a company are very passionate about and, in this instance, that passion has clearly shown through.'
DCH looks forward to progressing to the national stages of the award.
